Larry, I am still trying to determine what a "Redworm" really is. I have a few "Yellow-tails" also called "REd wigglers" by my Dad in the 60's. They are an inch to inch and a half long. They have a big reproduction ring, and a tail that is yellow. When the worm is bitten, a yellow stream dribbles out. Are these redworms? Could you send me a VERY UPCLOSE picture of one of your Redworms?? I am interested in raising them if they look like a 2 inch (aprox.) plain red worm. I am afraid to order from anyone because I don't know what I will really get. Thanks, Kaywood (This was my 1st year raising Africans and unsuccessfully raising ENC's!)

The ones with the yellow tails are Eisenia Fetida (Red Wigglers). Smallish worms, but great eaters & breeders.

Kaywood, These redworms I have are Eisenia Fetida. I'll try to get a picture posted.

Hi Larry. I just saw your latest reply. I guess I missed it before. I still hope to get a Pic of the worm that is the actual Redworm everyone talks about. Maybe put a quarter beside it and another type of popular worm close to it too. Jus when you have a chance. Thanks a bunch! Kaywood (Kay)
