Anyone have any advice on starting a website? I would like to start one...not sure how much money to invest..Anyone have a favorite company?

It depends upon the which website you are creating. There are many companies which create website at affordable price. You can easily pick up one from them.Let us also know which and when are you creating it?

Well you can try Weebly for free if you buy the domain from them, I think the charge for the domain name is about $50 for a year. It is simple set up the site builder on Weebly but it's limited unless upgraded to Weebly Pro. I setup one for a company on Ipage oddly enough the site builder looks like Weebly's but cost more money. You can also google website builder for more companies, the cost is really up to how much you want to spend. I talked to one person that spent over $1,000 for his website but he had paid someone to set it up for him.
