I am a novice interested in started a worm castings business, primarily selling to local nurseries and attending farm markets (with my child/ren participating along with me ). I am much more intested in the contained units (Wigwam and OSCR seem to be the main ones out there)and am wondering if anyone can give me some personal experience.

In looking at websites, it seems as though the windrows method is primarily in use. If this is true, why?

Cost. Windrows are low cost whereas the commercial units are big bucks. I am looking into windrows myself.
