D. octaedra D. rubidus L. rubellus: available? 6 Years, 3 Months ago

Hi there,
I'm new both to Worm Digest and forums in general. I'm posting from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and I work for Environment Canada in a Research and Development lab. I'm interested in obtaining three specific species of worms:
Dendrobaena octaedra
Dendrodrilus rubidus
Lumbricus rubellus
Does anyone know if there are any commercially available suppliers and/or university labs who would be willing to ship to Canada?
I've posted in two other forums, since I didn't know which one would be most appropriate.
Thanks!

Soils Lab,
Try the new worm resource page. Hopefully, you will have better luck finding your specific species.

You should be able to find all three of these in Canada.
Dendrobaena octraedra- smallest earthworm in Canada
Dendrodrilis rubidus- Known as the European Bark Worm-also one of the smallest in Canada
Lumbricus Rubellus- A great fishing worm in Canada.
Try some of your suppliers up there. If you can't find one, send me an e-mail and I will give you a good person to contact.
We are shipping 8,000 pounds of EF's to Canada, but we don't have the ones you are looking for.
