Adding Images to Posts 6 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 27
I have emailed WD and gotten a response from Maureen. My question/request was how to add images in a post. I am able to do this on other forums I participate in, so I know it is possible. It sometimes is very helpful to actually see an image that goes along with a post. Maureen said that she was going to Scooter and that I should post my question here. Thanks for a response.

Hello Redhen,

I enjoy your posts and I want to extend best wishes and Happy Thanksgiving to you.

I loved the photo so much that the team posted up on the home page, I emailed them and they sent it over to me.

This is the full scale photo. I am going to go to the select image file below this text box and browse for my image on my desktop. Click on it and let's see if it works.

Good Job Corn Meal!

You have broken new ground.

So, Let's see if I can explain this simply for others who post on these forums.

When I hit reply to your post I am diected into the text editor. Directly under this text box I see two green bars. One reads select image and the other reads select file. You hit the select image Browse button and it led you to the jpeg on your desktop. You clicked to open the jpeg and then you hit the little green img to the right of the larger Browse button. Then, you hit the submit button below and your photo became reality.

Cool Breeze Man!

I love the photo. Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone.

Redhen and foobar

It is really quite easy after you get the hang of it. While I was in the text editor, I did try to preview it and it did not work. But, as soon as I submitted the post my text and photo were posted.

I was always wondering about posted photos. Like most things, the technology was here from the beginning. I just hadn't explored far enough.

Thank you redhen for furthering my education.

Corn Meal
