I have yet to find a PM module that works through joomlaboard that both works and doesn't suck. So for the moment, we are out of luck with having a link within joomlaboard.

Ran into the first problem. How do you PM people? You can't click on them in the Forums. And there's no member database to pick off from. As an admin you have a list and can click at will. But we can't. So its good if you want to directly talk to somebody, but for us, we can't use it.
I don't think there's a way to hide it until you have a message.

I don't have a list to choose from.
I go over to PM, and click on "compose".
Then I type the user's name into the TO: box.

The autofill works nicely. That will help out. Thanks!
I thought you were doing the PM from the Admin menu, before I saw the compose. In your Admin you have Home, then from there you have User Listing, or something of the sort.

You can also PM to multiple users. Just seperate their name with a comma (,)
