I have most of EF bins inside my garage which has no heating or AC. I have one EF bed outside behind my garage. I have a small bin in my house for the Euros.

My 8 beds are inside. After going out of the poultry business, I have a 50x100'barn available. For now I am only using one side of it.

My niche is "vermicomposting for the cold-climate apartment dweller", so I have a 30-inch square bin on the balcony.

The worms die over winter, but not before laying eggs which hatch in the spring.

Each fall I harvest some worms and maintain a contingency stock in my home office (indoors!) in a black plastic garbage bag, primed with a couple of bins of shredded paper and topped up with coffee grinds throughout the winter.

Larry did you have problems posting a picture, have you tried linking it to photobucket?

No, I have never tried photobucket. Tried posting the usual way and it said it was oversize, After I trimmed it down to the right size, then it said it can't be a jpeg file.

I wonder why it couldn't be a jpeg file.

On photobucket you should be able to post the link to your pics on here and access the pics. Photobucket it is free to setup an account.

I have something I'm working on with pics for here so I guess I will find out if it works soon.
