Worms aren't growing as big as expected? 1 Year, 8 Months ago

About a year ago my son and I bought 3 lbs of what was suppose to be ENC. Could I have been sent Red Wigglers in error. I feed them mostly canned pumpkin and they seem to love it. He would like to start selling them but even the bigger ones are no where near as big as the ones you can get for fishing worms. The last time they were counted we had about 4000 in two bins that are 2' by 8'. We started them with sreaded newspaper and have had to add more over time. Seem to be getting a lot of castings and babies but not much size. Any thoughts would be a great help.
I don't post very often but read this forum at least 4 times a week. Be glad when I know enough to maybe help others.
