I bought african nightcrawlers from earthworms4sale in hopes to do some composting and have worms for fishing and food for my pets. Ive read arond and they are touted as good composters like eisina fetida.
However im having a little bit of difficulty with them.
First off the worms that i recieved seem to not be africans. They dont exceed 5 inches and are very thin around. Tinner than half a pencil. They resemble red wigglers.
Also if the worms are africans/red wigglers, do they need dirt? They are in dirt bedding with shredded cardboard sprinkled in.
Can worms eat cooked vegetables?
Perhaps you guys need a picture to better help me?
