I have decided to retry worm composting with european nightcrawlers.
I hope to also use them for fishing because of their nice size.
I have several questions i wanted to ask before i got started.
Is there anything special i should know about hortensis? Do they have special requirements?
Also i am thinking about leaving the lid off of my bin to promote lots of airflow in order to avoid stagnating any moisture that is inside the bin. Will the lightflow into the bin disturb the worms? The bin will be kept indoors.
I also hoped that this would prevent them from escaping.
