My worms arrived this afternoon. I had their bins ready so I took them there, divided them between the two bins, misted the peat they were packed in, and turned the light on. I had put a small amount of food over in one corner of each bin for a little knosh when they feel up to it
I think it took less than 30 minutes for them to all disappear to a lower level of the bin. I checked them again when I went out to feed the horses this evening and all seemed well. No one had tried to escape. I couldn't resist just moving the peat a little with my finger, no major disruption. I could see the peat move when I scraped some of it back, so I figured all was well and decided to leave them alone for the night
Now off to wally world to purchase a couple of little things that Bob has suggested to make my farming a little easier.
