Hello everyone, I am so pleased I found this site; I have been reading through all the old messages and the archived ones as well and have been learning a lot.
I set up a worm bin about three weeks ago using a 10 gallon planter pot that didn't have the usual draining holes. I drilled another two pots with holes in the bottom so I will have a three bin stacking system which is drained like the COW. I added 500 worms and waited for something to happen. The worms settled in quickly and now they are eating like mad. I have since set up another three bins similarly and also a fibreglass bathtub. I bought two more lots of worms, 1000 and 2000, the last lot arriving yesterday. None of my friends are interested in my worms, infact some of them think I am losing it. When yesterdays 2000 arrived I was so excited but had nobody to tell. So here goes ..... 2000 worms arrived yesterday.
