New to Worms - looking for a reliable supplier 4 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0  
New to worming and know I have lots to learn. I have a double washstand that I want to use to start with (small is beautiful). Any thoughts on this? also, I am looking for a reliable supplier of redworms - my understanding is that they are both bait and manure/compost worms. Please correct me at anytime. I would need about 1000 to start. Eventually, I would like to sell bait and garden worms as well as castings. I do want to start small to see how this all goes. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should look for someone in your area. Happy D Ranch is on the West Coast, Early Bird Worms is on the East Coast and Acme Worm Farm is in the Mid-West. All three of these have been good supplers for me. NC State University has a listing of suppliers by state on their web site. Shop around for a good price. The cost for a pound of worms can vary greatly.
