For me, it was about 2 months ago, and I finally grew tired or paying almost $4 a dozen for canadian night crawlers at the bait shop everytime I went fishing. So I decided to dig up worms out of my own yard, and start raising them.
Naturally, I hit the internet to find out what exactly I needed to do in order to bed/raise the worms, and came across information on Red Wigglers.
Needless to say, I have a small 2 foot by 2 foot bin in my laundry room with my worms I dug up out of the ground.
And outside under my covered shed, I have a 8 foot long, 4 foot wide, 2 foot deep bin I built for Red Wigglers, and have 15 pounds of the little fella's in there that I ordered.
Worm farming is addictive lol.
