When I was just looking around this board I read a thread that talked about feeding the worms something special to give the a boost in growth before selling them. I have tried a search but couldn't find it. My son has been raising worms for about 4 months now and has had several people interested in buying them. He would like to feed them to make them bigger but I can't find that thread. He has ENC.

hi phil: my answer is to search the severial thousand or so messages for the answer . I use pumpkin puree to enhance breeding. they don't get very big just multiply like crazy

Hi Phil; I would say that to give worms plenty of space and food and keep them at the low end of the comfort zone for them. 58_62 deg F for the ENCs(Eisenia hortenses).

Put the worms that you intend to sell in new bedding at around 4in. deep and feed straight mash. This is the only thing that I can recall reading. This is also the way I do it.
Just be sure to not mix the mash in with the bedding or you could overheat it and kill your woms.

Type worm fattner in the search feature.

Its made from several different grains and dried milk.

room is what i have found get them by them self younger worms are more hardy eaters and starve out the older worms.
