It's the finer details that make the difference. I would recommend just going to your local health food store to get the blackstrap molasses. As a rule it should already be unsulphured. Now the biggie. Sodium free. I have seen blackstrap molasses with salt in it. A little salt will go a long ways towards causing problems.
Also use an organic biodegradable dish detergent that is sulphate and phosphate free. Ivory and palmolive are good. The bidegradable ones won't list any ingredients on the label. Or if you want to spend a little more and use the preferred soap to mix in use Baby Castille Soap, also available at the health food store.
Just a few drops of soap. I don't like Murphy's Wood Soap since the vegetable oil can turn if left to long and start growing mold.
