Hi bobthebaptist; Was M Appelhof selling the Wastebuster? In order to dump 10# of waste per week that is ~1.5# per day of actual food. The bin size would be ~ 10 sq' 2' X 5'= 10 sq' with a minimum of 10# bio-mass of worms. the worms also consume the bedding material as food as it breaks down. I in fact would say to be safe it should be 30 or so sq feet so you can keep moving the feeding spot around and the hard to brake down materials (Corn cobs ie)have time to also brake down before being covered by the vermicast.
