I found a lot of baby worms on the cover of my worm factory. Why don't they stay in the bedding?

Is there moisture there if so then take off cover and see if that helps drive them back down.

Yes, the cover is wet. If I remove the cover, will worms get out at night time. Do I need to add a light to keep worms stay in the bin.

What type of worms do you have? The EF's usually stay put unless bedding conditions are deteriorating but on the ENC's I would add a light they have a tendency to crawl aound alot without any reason.

They are EFs. I removed the cover, so far so good.
Will continue to monitor.
