Was wanting to know if anyone has used bagged cow manure like Black Kow or similar. If so have you had any problems using it in the worm bed/bin?

I have used the organic bagged manure from Walmart and it was good for the first bag I bought, the second bag was horrible, it was anearobic when I opened it and am convinced it was 75% dirt.
Now I am back to collecting my own "fresh" patties.
I have a friend who uses bagged mushroom compost with good success in his bins.

Okay, Thanks for the reply. It looks like I lucked out and will be able to get fresh cow manure from a friend that I take fishing every year. I knew he raised a few goats but didn't know he raised cows until yesterday. So now I can get free manure.

Yes, but I always let it rest for a while so it doesnt heat the bin and to let any possible dewormer lose its effect. I let mine age at least 2 months before putting it in the bin.
