marketing - 2005/11/10 21:32 It's me again. I don't know alot about the proper names of worms yet. I have been told I have big red worms. I was wanting to find out pricing my worms to sell, how much to charge for a cup of worms to a middle man or if I sell them direct. I know its probably different in different locations. I'm just wanting to get an idea. Also how much for the castings? Thanks and God Bless!

James

Re:marketing - 2005/11/11 11:22 I do not sell worms for bait but there are some on this forum that do. If I wanted to know more about my specific area, I would hit a few bait stores. I usually use my vermicompost to seed new bins for people when they buy worms from me. Castings are the more finished product of vermicompost. I never seem to have vermicompost stay around long enough to finish to that point. I have sold vermicompost to a few , that could not quite cross the line to start vermicomposting and making their own. Susan Quinby-Honer
