black spot - 2005/11/11 11:43 Hi
Wondering if I feed rose leaves with black spot on them to my worms, will the black spot then be in the casting and thusly spread throughout my garden?

Re:black spot - 2005/11/11 12:17 What I know for sure is that I put all my yard waste into my outdoor worm bins. Since I have used vermicompost and vermicompost tea on my roses (and stopped spraying them with chemicals), I no longer have black spots on my rose bushes and they have never been healthier.. Re:black spot - 2005/11/12 06:31 Hi, Bob. Since it's generally believed that worms remove pathogens from their feedstock, though not absolutely proven, I think you have no worries in that regard. Seeya www.trinity-ranch.com
