breeding - 2008/06/23 23:13 Hi Everyone

Question... I am going to start beds for the purpose of multiplying only.

What is the best ratio of worms per sq ft? My current beds are about 1.25 lbs per sq ft and they lay eggs but not too many. I'm thinking starting the new beds at about 1/2 lb per sq ft and dividing it when it reaches about a pound. I have access to enough space to add 100 sq feet. This will bring me up to 130 sq feet.

Any advice or links to reading material about how to breed?

Thanks

P.S. I scored a comercial paper shreader for free. It was going to be discarded by a business because they now have shreaders come to them Sheets of cardboard doesen't even slow it down.
