 Spading & earthworm decline - 2009/01/16 11:49 Have heard that spading is hard on the earthworm population. How deep is it safe to spade before you start destroying the egg sacks or ticking off the burrowing night crawlers?
I have deep tilth now. Would 6" be permissible? Thanks, diggyinMadison

PS: It is the change in temp that kills the eggs and young, correct?
