 We counted....90 Canadians to a pound. - 2009/02/27 12:59 Its cold and still snowing , books are on order, Names, for our little venture, are flying through our heads. We are very excited, wrapped in a blanket of trepidation, but SO EXCITED... I have a quick question, I've been reading all the news paper ideas...we lost a parrot when I was a child and the vet said it was poison from the news paper ink..she would tear it up to make a nest, "Mad Hatters syndrome" is there any particular kind of News Paper with or without the colored sales prints? I guess we just like talking to other people who really understand and care about worms. thanks!

 Re:We counted....90 Canadians to a pound. - 2009/03/15 21:30 Go for Euros. Nobody has successfully raised Canadians large scale. They like to be deep in burrows and not in high population densities like other composting worms. They also have to be kept fairly cool. You will find the Euros much easier to raise for sure. David
