Another question from a Newbie - 2009/03/26 22:19 My "endgame" is to use the worm castings in my garden. That being said, am I safe in worm-composting dog poo? I have a large Weimaraner that produces some pretty impressive statements in the back yard. I figure I could make a pile of poo and leaves in the back yard, and toss wormies in there over the summer and it will be fine. Since the dog has a fondness for eating paper toweling and kleenex, I could provide two food sources in one compact package!

Perhaps I should limit this compost to only flower gardens and leave it out of the veggie gardens?

Re:Another question from a Newbie - 2009/03/26 22:38 I'm learning.... next time I'll search the forum before posting a stupid question. I found all of the answers I needed just by searching the forums for "dog".

Thanks for previously answering!
