Looking to buy 400 LBS of Red Worms - 2006/12/26 22:38 Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to buy about 400 LBS of Red Worms for a University recycling project. We are located in Fairfield Iowa, USA so I'm especially interested to be connected with worm farms in that area.

Can you help me in that?

Also, if you are aware of other universities anywhere in th eworld who are using low tech' system to compost thier organic waste I'll be most greatfull to know about them!

Thank you very much and a happy new year to all,
Alex

E. fetida, P. excavatus, or L. rubellus? Give me a call at 1-800 COMPOST to discuss specifics.

Re:Looking to buy 400 LBS of Red Worms - 2007/01/25 15:29 Hi Kenti,
thank you for you replay and sorry for the delay in my responce. I've tried to call you at that number few times with no success.
I'm interested to know how much 400 lbs of Eiesenia fetida will cost. Also I would like to ask about a mix of few spicies, whould you recomend that rather then having only one kind of worm?.

Thank you very much,
Alex

Re:Looking to buy 400 LBS of Red Worms - 2007/01/25 21:28 There are some researchers and companies studying Black Soldier Fly larvae for bioconversion of huge amounts of organic waste.

Gerry Guinn posts here also.
It's very interesting and you just might be interested in learning more about it.
