 Dotty's Presence Will Be Missed - 2005/09/28 21:01 Dotty, our Worm Hat Lady, has made her transition. My direct communication with her has only been within the last couple of months. I am happy I had an opportunity to speak with her through emails. I will miss her.

Please see the email I received from her daughter today:


Subject: With Heartfelt Regret

Dear Friends of Dorothy,

This is her daughter, Alicia Hart. I am apologizing for not calling each one of you individually. There are so many people that need to be told. My mother has so many family and friends that I hope you understand this was not my wish to type something impersonal to you.

My mother would have wanted you all to know that she has had trouble with her heart these last few weeks and unfortunately she suffered a major heart attack on Tuesday, Sept 27th. She died today on the 28th at about 7 in the morning. She passed peacefully and the hospital staff took excellent care of her. I know that there are some of you that I personally do not know, but as your name was in my mother's address book, I felt that she would want you to know and considered you a friend.

I know that there are some of you that have been talking to her about the future and about Jehovah God. I would really like to either continue your conversations or introduce you to someone you would like to talk with. The times that we are living in are difficult and full of strife, but as my mother knew, there is a hope for all of us in God's righteous kingdom in a beautiful paradise.

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, October 1, 2005, at 2 PM.

It will be held at:
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses
266 Fairbanks Rd.
Farmington, ME

 Re:Dotty's Presence Will Be Missed - 2005/10/01 15:47 Regarding Dotty's passing, I'd like to send a fond farewell to her. I hope her memorial service has sent her on in good stead and that her family and friends feel better as time goes on.
Honor to all who are making transitions!
We just had some jasmine tea over here at work in honor of another kind guardian of the land who passed away a year ago.
May we tread lightly on the earth and help prepare it for fruitful and wasteless generations to come.
