expired calcium tablets. - 2006/03/30 09:25 Hi,

I have some expired calcium tablets, can i grind them up and throw into the bin?
will they be the same as calcium carbonate?

Yes, you can powder up the tablets and feed them to the worms. I have done that with old expired vitamins, and alfalfa tabs. But I did it, with just a few at a time weekly until they were gone, to multiple bins.
Also scroll down the general Discussion forum, and look at "In Ground bins," there are several ideas on ground bins set ups.
