Bob, got a question - 2005/10/06 13:57 Back when I got the Euro's from you, they were huge. There are some large ones still in there, but not quite as large, after the bin has gone thru it's complete cycle (slow down, getting acclimated, some die off, rebirth).

Do you put yours in a "fattening" bin before shipping, or are all of yours that large, all the time?

Re:Bob, got a question - 2005/10/06 17:17 Nossir, I've got em all sizes. I don't put em in 'fattening' bins, but I do split the beds pretty regularly. Worms, like fish, will grow to their environment....if the beds get over populated, they will sometimes get smaller to adapt to the environment.

I noticed more larger, adult worms on the surface, when I flipped the carpet over. So I decided to dig into the bed. It is filled with larger ones, I never see. The surface is covered with the younger generation with fewer adults mixed in.
