worms from compost - 2007/02/04 10:50 I am in the beginning stages of starting a worm farm and can you start with worms that were dug up from the local compost center? I do not know what type of worms I wiil find. has anyone tried this?

Re:worms from compost - 2007/02/08 19:08 wrong forum check in 1) General Earthworm Discussion Forum for better viewing. You can though but it will be pretty slow unless you dig up a lot of worms. Red wigglers multiply like crazy after they get started. If you put your worms in a bed and they do that then they will probubly work out.
