Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2005/11/23 13:15Hi folks, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We volunteers are working to get all the mail answered and orders for books and back issues filled. Someone wrote in that they like to order their eisenia fetidas from Acmewormfarm.com. Tom & Dorothy's phone number at Acme is (520)750-8056. Feedback on Acme and other worm farms are welcome! Re:Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2005/11/26 20:32Maureen..I am not sure I understand what you are asking. In most forums advertising of any kind is not permitted. Perhaps you are looking to make a "resources page", which personally, I think would be a great asset to the site. For instance, I have my business listed on North Carolina State's "NC Resources" page. This page does not endorse any businesses, but has the list to help people find businesses local to them.Susan Quinby-Honer redhen@nc.rr.com Starve the Landfill...Feed the Earth.

Re:Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2005/12/01 23:45Hi Red Hen, Bob & Kuznles & SauceMan,
I am new to this and you are exactly right, the forum is discussion only and we need to make a resource page.
I saw your other post too, RH, and it was voted upon and agreed to start a world-wide resource page.
Thanks for staying on top of things and writing in! We are going to follow your advice. The resource page should be up soon.
A lot of mail has been coming in and we've been working hard to get caught up over the holiday.
SauceMan, back order requests for Worm Digest will normally be made at the store. Since we are still putting some things together for the store, it will be ready by the end of the year. If there are some back issues you'd like, please write back and we'll take care of it. Write to earthworm@wormdigest.org.
Thanks and more thanks for your continued communications everybody!

Re:Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2006/02/07 13:07Hi SauceMan,
We need more help with the great number of inquiries to our mailbox. Everyone is welcome to write in and it is great to hear the interest and feel the need for more information in this field of sustaining the earth with earthworms.
If you'd like to order any back issues I can help you with that immediately. Please send a request to the "contact us" email on the site and I can correspond with you further.
What is your favorite sauce? Do you have a secret ingredient?

Re:Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2006/07/02 12:18What's happening with the resource page?
I received an order from afar yesterday and didn't want to ship worms cross country in the heat of summer. It took longer than expected to find someone closer to the buyer to refer to. There are some global lists of suppliers, but some are out of date.
It would be nice to have a listing of sellers. Ideally the page would list what kinds of worm(s & products) they sell, where they're located, and conact info.
I can see that would be a great resource to someone looking to buy. It only makes sense to buy worms locally.

Re:Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2006/09/18 20:52Hi - just wanted fresher answers to this question. I'm probably going to order a few pounds of worms later this week.
Thanks, Bob

Re:Where Do you buy your Red Wigglers? - 2006/10/11 20:44Bob, I think the suppliers who wrote in above are all very fresh! Just wanted to know if you got your order in for earthworms. This forum welcomes feedback.
