All of you are talking about eisinia foetida and l. rubellus but how about eudrilus euginae? please help, these worm farming can help a lot to stop my people from using inorganic fertilizers.thanks

Hey Ulalanti. I would post in your own thread, not hijack somebody elses. Just post what you did here and let us know what parts you're needing help with. Good luck with the African NC's.

Re:Thoughts on vermicompost operation - 2008/01/09 12:34 I got my worms this morning and they all seemed well. When they hit the light they started to move some. I placed them in the 2 bins and put a single damp peace of news paper on them witch is what the lady told me to do. I came back about an hour latter and they most of them had crawled into the bedding. With in 3 hours there were no signs of any worms; I did not dig in the boxes.
