Welcome to the squirm, TWF. I use my local paper's colored pages and haven't seen any problems. They're all veggie ink, so they tell me. Call your newspaper and ask what they use for ink. If they can't (or won't) tell ya, I wouldn't use it in a bin. If you need a paper supply for bedding, they may be willing to give up their roll-ends, un-inked. They cain't say anything worse than no, eh?
