Re:Worms - 2008/05/14 12:15Mord & I are good, folks. Thanks, and no defense needed for my opinions. We all have our own. I've been involved in a forum spat before, and I'm not going there again.
...come on, Gary lighten up...Consider me light, Jerry.
Heck, I got a butt like bubblegum anyway - the more it gets chewed on the harder it gets .
So how's yer herd doing, Mord?Y'all have fun, whatever you're doing. Gary Hopkinsville, KY

Re:Worms - 2008/05/15 01:20Welp, as far as the original post I can't see it being offensive, not if anybody on here watches TV or reads books or even listens to music. The worst word I used was PG...but noted. I'll tone down the volume. Actually, it'll be a nice test to see how funny I can be without mentioning hookers and Satan's hobby horse. Those two don't count.
However the unpleasantness I got into after was regrettable. I misunderstood Gary for most of his post and for getting my butt hair up with him and his friends, I apologize. I am used to going at it full hammer on a few other sites I belong too so the habit dies hard.
And yes, I am totally cool with Gary. I've got no hard feelings and my worms are baking his worms a nice wormy cow paddy cake as a sign of our peace in the middle east...or Mid Atlantic/Midwest. He seems like a nice enough guy when he doesn't think I sukt! LMAO! Seriously. No, worries mate!
Thanks for the welcome Wellsworm. This place is pretty cool and I am excited to learn all that I can. I am doing my first garden and the worms add an extra level of coolness to it. Before the worms, chicks wouldn't even look at me...now...they run AND scream...so things are on the upswing!

They are chewin' right along, thanks. I am getting ready to feed'em for a second time since the move into Stalag XIII. Hogan seems to have calmed down because I haven't seen too many trying to crawl to Allied lines the last couple of days. We had some major rain so I am thinking that had them stirred up maybe. Or LOL most of the wanderers made it out. I gotta do a head count or a close approximation.
Funny thing. I noticed my castings were looking gray rather than black. Maybe it was the light. It'll be nice when I have enough of my own to use.

Re:Worms - 2008/05/15 01:37I thought the original post was funny... and honestly after the response to my response that some people thought was offensive I was expecting a PM with a picture of a big fat one... a worm, that is... I'm so disappointed...

LMAO! Yeah, that was a great innuendo that I sadly let go to waste, eh? I am on a music site and we are always taking shots at each other like that. I enjoy a good jab...the back and forth. Especially deadpan like that.
I was slightly confused by the reactions because I figured you were jokin' with me.
Well, nice to meet you anyhow. Next time, you get one of those 9 foot Amazon wormies in the Mailbox...promise!

I'm sorry too, for my part, if I sounded snippy with you. I didn't mean to hurt anyones feelings, especially your's - just doing what I was always told to do - stand up for what I believe in, or fall for anything....
I hope you enjoy your worms, and once you see what effect their castings have on plants, you'll be hooked forever... (insert evil chuckle here)
It's nice to meet you Mord, Have a great day, Miss D

Re:Worms - 2008/05/15 16:38I'm glad everyone's all fuzzy feeling now Had a feeling but it all worked out I hope.
This was the first forum I ever encountered after finally breaking down and buying a computer back in 2004. There was one fella that particularly liked to flip my switch and finally did succeed at running me off. Since then and many forums later I've learned people are different, not everyone thinks like I do and more often than not, the written word is the most often misunderstood thing on the internet forum. Like here in my area if you said you got taken out behind the wood shed it meant you got your butt thrashed with a switch from a hedge bush for doing something bad...I learned it means something totally different in New Zealand but only after getting hit on by about 30 "happy men"!
Sorry fella's I'm married and straight!
Forums can be a great place of information if you can just let things roll on by most times...very few are the real bad guys that intend to hurt.BSFLcomposting.com
