Adding a second tray - 2008/05/10 17:42 I have worm factory and I'm have added a second tray, as I have filled the first one. The worms seem a little slow to move up to the second tray and they are not eating the food I put in the second tray as fast as they did in the first tray. Any comments as to why? I'm not real worried as the worms in the first tray look happy. I am also trying to error on the dry side of the second tray and slowly add water to it (but I think the moisture level is good now).
Thanks

Re:Adding a second tray - 2008/05/10 18:16 If there is still food/bedding in that first tray the worms will stay down there and work on it Susan Quinby-Honer

Re:Adding a second tray - 2008/05/10 20:36 Yepper - they're used to the original tray, and will move when they decide they're done down there.
I saw the same thing when I had my WF working. Careful with feeding too much in the new tray. Sounds like yer on it.
Y'all have fun, whatever you're doing.
