 how to feed my resources - 2006/01/08 20:18 Hello all, I am a newbe here from North Carolina. I have built boxes, and will be getting worms next week. Am going to start w/ the ENC. My first of many questions: I have an endless supply of cow dung,and hay all decomposed together. how is the best way to feed this mixture....thanks Ivey ipridgen@nuvox.net

 Re:how to feed my resources - 2006/01/09 06:41 Hello, Ivy. How well composted is your mixture? If it's far enough along, with no heat in it,you can use it as bedding/feed. If you're bedding with something else, just sprinkle it right in...they'll love it.You might put some in one of your boxes before the worms arrive, wet it, and stick a thermometer in to check temps.If it's decomposing now the microbes are working, the worms should just chow down.
