new bin new to worming - 2008/08/11 22:20 I decided finally to start a garden. I found info on this indoor worm bin thing and wanted to try it. Followed the directions from here http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=976204
I went to walmart, bought some worms, put them in. I came home today, they are still on the surface and appear to be mostly dead. I have had fishing worms live longer in the styrofoam cup. What did I do wrong?

Re:new bin new to worming - 2008/08/15 10:25 You probably let them get to hot on the way home or something or the material in the bed heated up and killed them. One article with a lot of inaccuracties will not prepare you for worming. Do you know what kind of worms that you got from the store? What did you put in the bed? Putting the bed under the sink next to a hot dishwasher is not a good idea either.
