(Gotta get my next two beds built!)The tape has worked great for several weeks, but now some have stepped over the line Actually I did notice a tiny escape route in one corner where the tape didn't get creased & pressed tight into the inside corner-just big enough for a worm to worm it's way out. Most of my escapees were in that area. Thought this picture was interesting how they're trying to find a way out through the vent holes. On my next 2 bins I was thinking to put the holes above the tape, but this does make a great indicator when it's time to divide the bed.

I bought the 1/4" tape and laid two strips right beside each other -- no space in between. Worm fellows crossed it just like before. I'll try making the barrier wider. I still have plenty of the tape.

Wellsworms: I think there's about 16 holes around the perimeter. Most of them are unclogged, or have just a couple worms in them. There were only about three that looked like this one.
