Cool basement Warmer worms - 2009/01/14 19:50 I have a 5 gal pail that houses the smaller part of my worm collection. I placed the pail on my gas furnace close to but not touching any of the hot pipes coming out of it that get hot at times. I plan to turn the pail everyday or so to even out the heat. Just an idea that some of you who live in similar conditions may be interested in. Frugality at work.

Re:Cool basement Warmer worms - 2009/01/16 12:33 You may be right but the top of the funrnace does not get warm and only the pipes get hot. Anyway, I took the bucket of the top of furnace and placed it a foot away.
