Difference between Redworms and Redwigglers??? - 2009/03/25 17:00 OK, I'm confused. I thought they were two different types of worms and then I read on an ad linked here they are the same.

Which is it? If they are different worms, which is the best to buy for a hot Texas climate to buld products of salable worm castings and worms for bate.

Thank you.

Re:Difference between Redworms and Redwigglers??? - 2009/03/25 21:50 Connie...Anyone can name a worm anything they want.
When looking for a particular worm look at the scientific name.

Re:Difference between Redworms and Redwigglers??? - 2009/04/05 23:34 I have seen redworms and redwigglers sold at a local baitstore. The redworms are European Night Crawlers's and the redwigglers are Eisenia Fetida's. I seen another baitstore selling Hybrid Reds which were ENC's. ENC's and EF's are not close in size when mature. ENC's are longer and bigger.
You can contact Tom at acmewormfarm.com, he should be able to help you, he is in hot Arizona.
