Re:worm loven - 2009/03/27 05:43 Your worms might have protein poisoning or to much feed. Just take out the feedstock and aerate the worm bin. Let the things settle for a week. Then start feed your worms again with little food at a time. This works with me. Andy

and180,

That's not protein poisoning. That is two worms doing the dance(making baby worms). A couple of years ago, when I first saw that, I thought it was bad too.

Re:worm loven - 2009/03/27 10:48 i do feed with a chicken non antibiotic mash off and on, i figured it was just going through their body and processing, i really would like to get some rabbit droppings, i saw a rancher that sells them so i am going to approach them for the manure, this way i can back off the mash and probably just feed twice a month rather than once a week.

the site freaked me out i thought i had alien worms

if it is protein is their a chance of killing the herd?

thanks woody
