Re:Can you tell me if this is normal worm behavior - 2006/03/03 09:51 Hi everyone, I've noticed that when a low pressure weather system moves in or in other terms rain, alot of my worms will move to the lid and walls of my bin. I've read that this is a normal response of the worms natural instincts to get away from flooding rains. They are very sensitive to barometric pressure. I no longer worry when I see this and when the storm passes they all retreat back into the bedding after a while. Hope this helps you out. I also will spray my bins with rain water so the worms can feel like they're in their natural environment. TOM
