wild seeds/weeds - 2006/04/11 21:09 Hi Experts,

I am currently using cow dungs from cows that are grazing in the open field. The cow dungs are left in the open for at least 21 days being feed to the worms.

When the vermicasts are collected and used in the potted plants and organic farms, wild grasses are found to be growing very well, which is not well accepted by the users.I am very sure the wild weed seeds were not diested by the cows and during the waiting period of 21 days. I then cover the cowdungs with a plastic film to increase the temperature, but the problem remains the same.

I look forward to your expert advice and with many thanks.

Best regards

Soon Tong, Lim (Mr.)
