I Love the Verms and The Verms Love Me By Wendy Karush
I've got to admit; so I write to admit; it's worms. I'm addicted to the worms. Yes! Worms! My worms; your worms; earth's worms. In fact, I was vermiscularularly smitten the delightful day my dear departed dad directed me to worms.
Since then I think; I thank; I thunk; WORMS. I dream; I dreamt; I drumt; worms. I feed; good food; to brood; worms. I write; I wrote; I visit at night; worms. I hymn; I hum; I someday will become; worms.
To worms I am a server of lunch right from the pail: vermicelli, carrot tops, apple cores, scrap kale. I commit some vermicide as I Troy-Bilt down the rows. But I do it as quickly as possible... the plant and weed on tippy toes!
Worms's color is vermillion; got no bones; no teeth; no sight. But oh romantically vermigrady those warm and moonlit nights!
So Cool Wendy!
