worms in potted plants - 2006/05/10 20:23 Hi--
I'm new to vermiculture and this forum--I'm glad this site exists! I fear I may have done my worms a disservice and want to find out quickly! I'm about to move from a place with a big compost pile to one where I will only have (outside) potted plants. I potted some plants yesterday using a mixture of 1/2 potting mix and 1/2 compost (filled with worms)--but now I'm worried maybe one shouldn't put worms in potted plants. Can they get enough to eat? Will they overheat in the black plastic pots? Shall I unpot them?
Thank you!
Mari
