Any Advice PLEASE - Compact Soil and Worms - 2006/05/15 04:58 Hello All

I'm new to this web site but am really after some advice.

I have a garden with poor drainage across the lawn, I am currently digging a soak away to help with this, whilst digging I have noticed the first few feet of soil is very compact with very few worms in it, and am wondering if this is contributing to the poor drainage.

Can anyone recommend some worms that will live in the first few feet of soil under my lawn and help to break up the soil, if so where can I get some from in England.

PLEASE HELP

Regards
Mark Brown
