There was without doubt hypocrisy tainted in the "new slick Hollywood message" as your post so eloquently ferreted out.
I think the point here is there really is a problem. Now, we have figure out the real people who are attempting to help solve it vs. the other people who are pretending to solve it to gain notoriety.
There is no doubt that this message could have been delivered in a more subtle environmental way with less impact of carbon emissions released.
I understand the LIVE EARTH people asked the EarthWorm Digest Director, Jamie Melvin, to introduce an act at the New Jersey venue. He turned them down. That alone speaks volumes for the honest direction of what this website holds dear to its loyal readers. When he was asked why he turned them down, he responded, "I am just keeping it real." Bravo man! I could not have answered better.
