They move to higher ground when they are ready to pupate. At this stage, they leave the feeding area after having regurgitated their digestive tracts (they don't eat as adults), and then find a quiet place to puate into adult flies. This behavior makes them very easy to harvest as an animal food source. You simply place a bucket at the end of the ramp to collect them. We Are WORM - Resistance Is Futile!
