worm castings purity - 2008/02/20 11:19
I have been raising African nightcrawlers for four years and have just recently started to sell the castings. A reporter did a story on castings and included another person who claims to have 100%wormcastings in two weeks with a system he bought from Australia. He saw my castings and said his are pure and mine are at the most 40%. He claims his system feeds worms a certain amount based on the bin size and number of worms. MIne are in the beds 6 to 12 months though I do change partial bedding throughout the time.Any way possible this guy could have such a system and how do I determine the % of my castings? Thanks!
