The ones I have are munching down food and pushing it out their back end pretty quick. From what I've read on here, people have just as much luck with Euro's than with Red's. Some say they just don't multiply as quickly as Red's. Here's a video on YouTube http://youtube.com/watch?v=sl9gY_SqyxM He uses Euro's. Also, if you use castings that may have cocoons in them, the Euro's will do well in the garden (depending on climate), where Red's won't (unless your garden doubles as a horse dump).
If you already have them, keep them and see how they do. I'd get some Red's too, the more the better. Then you'll have worms for castings and for bait.
